Olivia
is adopting a child from Congo
“W” is a young girl currently living in an orphanage in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is a war torn country in Africa, deemed to be the worst place in the world to be a girl. We first saw “W” on a photo listing. She was considered a special needs child because she was 8; her age made her most likely to be unadoptable. We couldn&’t stop thinking about her! All kids deserve a family, so we spoke for her. Soon after we committed to her we found out that a family that lives just 15 minutes away was in the process of adopting her best friend from the orphanage! These two girls are the oldest in the orphanage and have been there for a long time watching countless little kids go home with their forever families. We are not rich, but we have the love, means and heart to raise “W” as our daughter; to give her hope of a better tomorrow. Please help us make it “W&’s” turn to come home!
