Our family is wonderfully blessed. I have a 21 year old daughter (who has a beautiful 2 yr old daughter), a 19 year old son, an 18 year old daughter, a 16 year old son (with mild Autism and Sensory Processing Issues), a 5 year old son (adopted from Foster Care with Arthrogryposis) and a 4 year old daughter (adopted from Foster Care with Myofibromytosis and limb difference). We are just starting our journey to adopt again. I grew up with a wonderful mother who was also a Foster Parent. I had always known that God called me to adopt. I just did not know that God was going to call me to adopt AGAIN! I was eager to start again and felt God leading me toward China where I would find my next children waiting for me. We are eager to find out the children that will become ours. We have worked diligently to keep things moving forward. We&'ve prepared as much as we can, but the cost of adopting can be great. Because we are adopting through the minor special needs program in China instead of through the US Foster Care System as we did with our first adoption the expenses will be greater.
