We are currently in process of adopting an identified older child with special needs from Eastern Europe. Our first two children, Rex and Emilia, were adopted in 2011 from Armenia and Bulgaria respectively. They have infused our life with a level of love and joy we could never have imagined. Due to their medical and developmental special needs, they have also given us a new appreciation for what it means to overcome daily challenges. And they have shown us what a tremendous difference the care of a family can make in a life, leading us to decide to open our hearts and home to one more child. The adoption of our newest daughter will cost us approximately $45,000. Thus far, we have already paid $35,000 in home study, agency, travel, and USCIS fees. We would never expect to fundraise the entire cost of our adoption, but would be thrilled if our international fee of $10,500 could be covered through the generosity of others who believe that every child deserves to grow up in a family. If all goes well, we hope to have our little girl home in about two months. Through your support, you can be a part of her unfolding story. Thank you.
