In 2013 we began our journey to adopt our youngest child from China. Our older children were 13 & 10 at the time and our friends and family were a bit surprised at our decision to say the least. This began a journey that has changed our family forever. As our little one was joining our family, the call to bring an older child home as well was resonating in our hearts. So as the Lord is calling, we are responding by beginning the process to bring our daughter home! Our children are excited to meet their newest sister soon. We have felt God leading us to adopt an older daughter since we began the process in 2013; however, adopting two children was cost prohibitive. Well….The desire to grow our family and bring our daughter home has not wavered. Our girl is 13 now and will "age out" of the system in August, so we find ourselves with a greater sense of urgency seeking assistance this time around. Our little girl is excited to have a big sister from China as our older children are already making plans on how they can help to make her transition to our culture as smooth as possible. While we have the love and resources to care for our family here in Ohio, the costs of our youngest daughter&'s adoption and caring for special needs, does not afford us the opportunity to finance the initial costs of bringing our oldest daughter home. Our family has been blessed beyond measure and we look forward to much more as our family grows in love and numbers. We thank everyone who has supported us in the past two years and those who are joining us in our new family adventure. God Bless The Farmer Family
