The Fennells are adopting (AGAIN)!
We've know for a while now that we would adopt a second child. Over the past year, we've been able to sort through the when, what and where that adoption might look like for us. We are happy to announce that we are in pursuant of adopting a child from the Philippines.
The legal and logistically process cost $28-30,000 on top of what normal parenthood costs. During the first seven months of our paperwork process, we saved, raised and received grant funding for 2/3 of our adoption expenses. All that's left is travel expenses and additional paperwork that will come up. We will leave this page active until our the adoption is 100% funded, which we estimate to be $6,000-8,000.
Partnering together in adoption is about all of us helping a child find her forever family, and we are thrilled to be that family. We're also thrilled for you to be a part of this journey.
