Even before we knew each other, out on our own, each of us knew we would adopt our future children. We often talk about how amazing it is that each of our hearts can be drawn to a people or a person. Our hearts were drawn to Ethiopia for all the reasons that you would imagine. Poverty, mass unmet physical need, a huge widowed and orphaned population, but beyond all that there was a connection that words will never be able to describe. That unspoken connection that only members of a family share. We knew that part of our family was in Ethiopia. We brought our first daughter Annie home in June 2013 and now we've decided to begin the journey again. We are bringing another daughter home from India or Ethiopia. If you're reading this you know the obstacles are many but we have seen first hand that those obstacles are nothing when it's something God wants.
