We are so excited to announce that we are adopting! We are doing everything we can to prepare to welcome future baby Fern into our home. We have finished our home study and are waiting for a match. While we wait we are applying for grants, fundraising and saving to help pay for our adoption.
If you feel led, we would love for you to be apart of this process with us.
Titus and I met in our freshman year of college at Union University. We started dating a month later and continued to date all four years of college. We married shortly after we graduated. We just celebrated 12 years of marriage. We are so grateful for our time together over the last 16 years. After our adventure in Malawi, Africa we are ready to grow our family.
My husband Titus has 5 siblings and he grew up as a missionary kid in the Philippines. His parents taught and trained local pastors and in turn they trained pastors. Unfortunately, when my husband was 16 years old he got lymphoma cancer. Thankfully, they found a wonderful doctor in the Philippines and he was cancer free 8 month later. Praise the Lord! The drugs and chemo that healed him also have caused him not to be able to have children. Thankfully, we learned this very early on in our marriage (though we weren't surprised, we knew it was a strong possibility). God also gave us both a desire to adopt while in college. We are so happy to be on this journey to bring home our child. Thank you for your encouragement and prayers during this process.
