are adopting a child from Honduras

We have BIG news!

We are adopting a child!

Our Adoption Story

In August 2018 we received a call from a family member in Honduras that would change our lives forever. Our niece's best friend said she needed our help as she felt that we were the ones chosen to take care of her child. We responded and agreed immediately.

From that time forward, my wife has remained in Honduras and we have not spent a moment away from our new son. Since then it has been 4 years and we are eager to complete this adoption process.

As a result of our efforts of raising three children as well as the pandemic, our finances and savings have depleted. Nonetheless, no matter many obstacles we confront we are relentless to take and love our newest son. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowd funding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $ 35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 12,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he / she grows up.
