We are adopting a child!
We are in the process of adopting from China for the third time. When we traveled to China to pick up our son (2nd adoption), we discovered that he had a best friend of the same age (7), a little girl named Mei. We knew instantly that we wanted to try our hardest to travel back to China and make this beautiful little girl a part of our family. We are currently praying and hoping that God will move mountains so that we may make her a Fischer too.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we are fundraising this time around (our first time doing so). It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $30,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $27,250 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
