is adopting a child from Hong Kong

We have BIG news!

We are growing our family through Adoption!

There is a little girl from Hong Kong with a disability very similar to our son, Noah. As we were discussing the possibility of adopting her and considering the impact to our family we looked around and noticed something….a walker, canes, wheelchair, therapy mat, special chairs, etc were scattered throughout our home. We decided she would be a perfect fit!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome this beautiful child into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total over $30,000!

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.

Here are a few of our favorite verses that have guided our hearts for years on adoption:

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress… James 1:27

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families…. Psalm 68:5-6

Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. Psalm 127:4-5
