We're Tim and Katie Founds (but you can call us Team Founds). We started our adoption journey two and a half years ago. It's been a roller coaster of a journey, with two countries, two home studies, two states…and a lot of road blocks and surprises. We've felt about every emotion in the book along the way. But after a particularly hard spring, we have some HUGE news:
We've been matched with a beautiful baby boy!
While most things feel like they take extra long with the adoption process, this match showed up out of nowhere, just as we were settling in for an extra long wait. The exciting part of that is….well, we have a son waiting for us in Ethiopia:) The scary part is…the bills we thought were a year away are now due in a matter of weeks!
Our goal is big, and our goal is urgent. We need to raise our first $20,000 by July 6th.
Anything you can contribute, from $5 to $1000, means the world to us. We know that our adoption journey requires the support of our village the whole way, not just financially, but in atta-Founds and you-can-do-it. Thanks for helping us bring our little boy home!
