As many of you already know, the past 3 1/2 years have been quite a journey for us. We began the process of adopting two little children from Haiti, which has turned into adopting precious twin 10 year-old girls! We had the privilege of traveling to Haiti this past April to meet them and get to see how sweet they are. We can't wait to bring them home!
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $75,000. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our children as they grow up. As a bonus, we are putting together a 520 piece puzzle with pictures from our recent trip. For each $20 donated, we will write your name on the back of a piece that will be permanently commemorated. What a great way to show these girls how much they are loved even before they are truly known!
