My heart was open to adoption 6 years ago. There is no doubt God led me to adopt from Ethiopia and has continued to have his hand on my process during these past 5 years of waiting! Although the wait for a referral was much longer than I anticipated, it was all in God's Plan and his timeline.
This past April of 2017, I received my referral of 2 amazing boys ( twins ) and they came with God's signature :) One of boys is named Frezer, my last name. I truly feel that this was how God let me know that these were the children he hand picked for me .
Conversely, to the long wait for a referral, God has opened doors for me post referral. I have moved through the process swiftly thus far. I received & accepted my referral on the cusp of the Ethiopia Suspension in April. I made the "list" of case that the Department of State is committed to seeing though after very difficult negotiations with the Ethiopian Government. I have passed PAIR and I am waiting on a birth parent interview.
God's hand on how he has brought me to my children has been unwavering and miraculous! Watching him work has given me strength and excitement to be the best mother I can be to Frezer and Wube.
