Samantha Fuhriman

is adopting a child from United States of America

Our Story

We met in 2010 and soon were inseparable. On March 9, 2013 we were married and shortly thereafter wanted to start our family. For the last four years we have tried to become pregnant, but to no avail. We started the process of infertility testing and found out that we had both male and female factor infertility; we would never be able to have a biological child without medical procedures. We have been through numerous treatments and surgery to improve our chances, but have been met with heartache. At this point, we seriously reflected on our situation and strongly felt that indeed a child would come - but not in the way we originally planned. We have watched how the adoption process has blessed our family members and close friends over the last few years, and because of the change and blessings we’ve seen, adoption has become near and dear to our hearts. Because of this, we have decided to adopt rather than pursuing fertility treatments. We know God has a child for us and we are excited to meet them.

Our biggest obstacle to moving forward with adoption is the funding. After spending thousands on fertility testing and treatments, we do not have the full amount of money needed to fund an adoption. More than anything in the world, we want to become parents and have the opportunity of raising a child of our own. We will do everything we can to provide them with a loving, stable, and joyful environment to grow up in. For this reason, we are humbly asking for your help. Any donation you could make to help our cause would be greatly appreciated.
