We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child! We have been trying ourselves for 12 years. We have tried everything except in vitro, which is super expensive. Luckily, my wifes cousin is almost due and does not want child. We are up to 10,000 in lawyer's fees already and thats with everyone in accord, not counting the costs of baby stuff we had to purchase with only 2 months until due date, which is coming soon. guess who came early saturday morning. 6lbs 3 oz, healthy.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 10,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
