We're adopting a baby!
As you may know, we've been struggling with breaking hearts for some time as we tried to have another baby with no success. Earlier this year we decided we didn't want to let our infertility diagnosis have the final word in growing our family. On Mother's Day we took the first steps towards a domestic infant adoption.
We're beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption related costs can easily add up. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.
