In the Spring of 2013, we began to feel a strong calling to adopt. By June 2014, we had decided to follow through and submitted our initial application. While still near the beginning of our home study, we had already received a referral, well before we were expecting it. However, that referral changed everything. Since then, we have been singleminded in our efforts to bring our little boy home. Our home study took much longer than anticipated, and costs are about double what we originally planned, but we will persist any way possible. What we can tell you now is that we were matched with a little boy from South Korea. He is just over 15 months old, and we are already in love. We can&'t legally share his name online, but you can call him Little G. As you probably know, adoption is expensive. We have been doing well with our own savings and some light fundraising events thus far, but the vast majority of the remaining fees are coming up sooner than we were prepared for. If you are able and willing, we ask that you may consider supporting us along this journey. We will greatly appreciate any financial assistance you are able to provide, even if it may not seem like a lot. Every bit helps, and together, we will bring Little G home.
