We have BIG news!
We are adopting another child!
We found our son Abel through a waiting child website and we are now RUSHING to get him home!! He is currently living in an orphanage in China and desperately needs medical care.
Just to share a bit about our little man…
He is only 1.5 years old and very sick. He has multiple medical issues including heart defects that will require urgent and agresssive treatment. As many of our friends and family know I (Jordyn) was also born with multiple heart defects. I have never doubted that God made me exactly how He intended…I don't believe that God makes mistakes. I think God made me the way I am to be the mama to a little boy who also has a broken heart…We may not have the same eyes or hair but we will have the same beautiful scars â¤ï¸
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome an AMAZING little life into our home in the next few months. As part of our adoption process, we have started a fundraising campaign…our adoption related costs will easily total up to $35,000-$40,000 or more. In addition we will also have medical expenses to cover so we are doing everything we can to be ready.
