We are growing our family through adoption!
We are adopting domestically through the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network - check out their website, www.ndsan.org, to learn more about this great organization.
We are so excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our family. As part of our adoption process, we have started crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $30,000 or more. Adoption is a complex legal process, and between that and travel expenses, it really adds up. We have been saving for a long time and have a lot of funds set aside for our adoption, but we are also hoping to fundraise some of this to help ease the financial burden that comes with this process.
We wish for your prayers and support for our family more than anything! If you are also interested in coming alongside of us financially, this is where you can do that. We hope that by inviting you into this process, whether you can support us prayerfully, emotionally and/or financially, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
