We have been matched with a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful baby boy into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. In most adoption stories, the planning phase gives the parents time to save and fundraise over several months. We were matched with our sweet boy before our Home Study was complete and we need to get him home before he "ages out" of the system, which would be in March of 2018. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help bring him home as soon as possible.
