We have started the adoption process for Little Miss
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to get thru this process. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $60,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. Securing guardianship resulted in over $35,000 in legal fees which we still owe. It is estimated that the adoption will run another $25,000. We feel so blessed to have her in our family and are trusting that somehow the finances will work out. This is one way to do that. This process has been an emotional roller coaster and it feels like the end is finally in sight.
So many of you have supported us in this process and know how hard this has been. You have watched her grow while we have struggled thru this. If you feel it in your hearts to help us over this last hurdle we will be forever grateful.
