As we were deciding to have baby number 3, we felt God calling us to go about it a different way this time, to adopt. We wanted to make a difference in someone&'s life, to bring a little one into our family that may not ever know the love of a family otherwise. As we started looking at countries, Bulgaria was the one that seemed to fit us the best for logistical reasons. We turned in our initial application in Nov, 2013 (which we now found out is the same month our boy was born!) We finally got on the waiting list with Bulgaria in August 2014, and were expecting another 2 years or so to save money before our referral, as things generally move pretty slowly. So we were very surprised with the call for this little one after just 10 months! He is now 22 months old and living in an orphanage in Pleven, Bulgaria. We took our first trip at the end of July, and are now preparing to bring him home by the end of the year!
