We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. This involves being spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially prepared. Our adoption journey begins at different points in our lives. Diane has dreamt of adopting ever since she was a little girl. As a step-parent to two boys with Diane, I have always wanted the experience of having a baby. We have faced many years of infertility with several miscarriages along the way. The journey has been very difficult for our family. But God has always shown his presence in every circumstance. The trials we have been through together have built a strong foundation of love, dedication, hope and peace.
We have prayed, fasted and sought God's plan for our lives this new year. Although this is not a decision to take lightly, we have stepped in full faith knowing we are walking in God's plan for us. We are praying fervently for our child and their birth parents as they make the tough decision to walk through the adoption process.
Please keep us in your prayers as we walk through this journey. Pray for our baby and his or her parents. Pray for our boys as they welcome a little brother or sister.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
