In 2012, God laid int. adoption on our hearts and made it clear to us this was how we were to bring home our first child. After just 5 months into the process, we received a call asking if we could travel in 5 weeks. Feeling compelled to say yes, we traveled with only half the funding we needed. The rest, unfortunately, went on our CC. In &’13 we arrived back in Colorado with the most precious gift we&’d ever been given. Once an orphan, now a beloved son. In &’14 we were given another incredible blessing we never knew we needed - another son. Wheeeew. Two kids in 18 months. We were perfectly content to let &’15 slide by calmly. The only real goal we had was to pay off our credit card from the adoption debt of &’13. In January of this 2016, we felt God stirring our hearts again, and this time, we questioned, Now, God? Have you seen our finances from the last adoption? Three weeks later our tax return came with the exact amount to pay off our credit card. With our first adoption we saved anywhere we could & sold anything we had of value - motorcycles, trailers, etc. For the last two years we&’™ve maintained that Âœtight belt life style and have little of value left to sell. Though we are financially able to sustain another child in our home (feed, clothe,etc) we are unable to bare the weight of the expense of another adoption on our own. Would you walk with us?
