We are Greg and Rachel. We met in college and quickly became best friends. Almost immediately we fell in love and got married 17 months later. After 3 years of marriage we felt it was time to start a family of our own. After trying for 1 year we became pregnant and were so excited, so were all our family and friends. Unfortunately, we lost our twin babies 13 weeks into our pregnancy. We spent the next several years going to numerous specialists and fertility doctors. Ultimately we were told in-vitro fertilization was our only hope for a child. We knew this was not true as adoption is a large part of both of our families stories. The average adoption in the U.S. is $35,000, and cost of adoption is the number 1 hurdle for couples adopting. We have made sacrifices and will continue to make any sacrifices necessary to grow our family. However, we cannot do this on our own. This journey will be one of several hurdles. We will need continued support and encouragement. It is said it takes a village to raise a child, for us it will need to start a little earlier. Would you consider joining our village for our child?
