We are adopting a sweet baby GIRL!!!! (I want to clarify that we have not been matched yet. We’ve requested and chosen to adopt a daughter)
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $38,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.
After we go to training in November, we can complete our homestudy and we will become "active"; which basically means that our profile will be shown to an expecting mother! We covet your prayers throughout this journey and please remember to keep our birth mother/family in your prayers (whomever she may be) as she embarks on this journey!
