We are adopting a baby!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. We want to invite you to be a part of this exciting journey with us!
First, we'd like to ask you to pray- it is by far the most important way that you can support our adoption! Please pray for us as we wait for the child that we feel the Lord has chosen to be a part of our family and as we prepare to become parents. Pray for the expectant mother (whoever she is) who is facing a difficult situation. Pray that she has the courage to choose life and that she has a support system to care for her as she navigates tough decisions about the future of her child. Pray that we love her well because God first loved us. Pray for the child that God has already chosen to be a part of our family. Pray for his or her health and safety.
In addition, as part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Through the adoption agency that we have chosen, it costs 27,000 dollars or more to adopt a child. If you feel led, we would love for you to partner with us financially. We have set a goal of $15,000 dollars to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
