In November 2015 we became a family of five when our son James joined our family. James is from southeastern China and was adopted at four years old. While people often say, "He is so lucky to have you," we believe we are the ones who have been blessed by the privilege of being his family. Our adoption journey has forever changed us and we are so thankful that we said Yes to this wonderful adventure! We've said Yes AGAIN to adoption and are thrilled to be bringing home Emily Marie Lin in summer 2017!
Emily will be turning two years old when she comes home and while she does have some special medical needs, we know that her greatest need is for a forever family. While we are committed to helping her through her medical challenges, our deeper commitment is to her growth and healing from all this time without the love and nurture of a family. While not everyone feels a calling to adopt, we know that many are seeking a way to help children without families. We are grateful for the support of friends and family who rallied around us to help bring James home. We are excited to see how God will move the "financial mountain" this time as we work to bring Emily home as soon as possible.
