is adopting a child from China

**UPDATE**

Many of you know that a few weeks ago we received disappointing news that we were no longer eligible to adopt from the Philippines as we had been planning and working toward for so long.

Well, after some weeks of discussing and praying, we are so excited to announce that we are redirecting our focus toward China! Through some good discussions with representatives of our adoption agency and a sister agency, we have discovered that China should be a better fit for our family right now.

That means that after a short lull in our fundraising efforts to figure out what was next, we are ready to get going again! We are so thankful that the funds we have raised so far will be able to transfer right over to our new China program and we can pick right up where we left off… SO PLEASE SHARE AND DONATE AS YOU ARE ABLE!

Friends and family, we have BIG news!

We are adopting a child!

We are very excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a new child into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that our adoption related costs will total up to over $29,000, so we have set that as our fundraising goal and are trusting God to provide through the generosity of our friends and family!

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We truly cannot do this without the support and prayers of you all! We believe God commands us to care for the widows and the orphans, and perhaps this can be a way for you to join in that cause!

Thanks for your consideration!
