Kristen Heckman

is adopting a child from United States of America

** UPDATE **

Now that we have told our daughter the baby's gender we are ready to share….

Its a G I R L !!!!!

We have BIG news! We are growing our family through adoption, again!

We just updated our home study in October when Our agency reached out to us to tell us about a birth mom who just wasn’t finding what she was looking for with the current active roster of families, even after meeting a few of them. Our agency felt like our profile would be a good match and asked us to consider this birth mother. Of course, we said YES and sent her our profile. A week later, after meeting her for lunch, she chose us to parent her baby.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. But as you know, adoption is expensive ($35,000 on average). To help ease the financial burden that can be overwhelming, we have launched this crowdfunding campaign in efforts to raise $15,000.

God’s plan for us to adopt reflects His adoption, love, and salvation for us. He knows the desires of our hearts. We trust that He has laid this upon our hearts because it’s His plan for our family and we have faith in this.

We ask first and foremost for your prayers and prayers for the birth mother. If you feel called to help us, we would be truly humbled and hope that you’ll forever see your place and efforts in the journey of bringing our baby home. We will gladly provide updates along the way.

If you can't donate financially, please consider sharing our campaign on your social media page!
