Sienna and I are adopting!
Adopting has been a goal of ours for most of our lives and we will give our child every opportunity to discover and pursue their passions and talents- whether it's in art, science, sports, or anything else.This includes sleepovers, travel, camping trips, and summer camps for them to grow independent and have a diverse breadth of experiences. The most important thing to us is to incorporate our child's culture and heritage in their upbringing through books, art, history, cultural travel, and community exposure.
Some information about us: after growing up and attending college across the country from one another we were lucky that our company relocated us to the same location in Texas. We quickly were drawn to each others confidence, intelligence, and love. We still laugh about on of our first dates at a local fair where Sienna agreed to ride unlimited rides with me even though she gets severe motion sickness! Three years later I proposed outside the gates of that dame fair. We got married a year and a half later in Sienna's hometown on a warm sunny summer day surrounded by close family and friend, white peonies and the soft sound of a nearby creek. We were honored to have the first female mayor of the town as our wedding officiant. Last year was our fifth wedding anniversary.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more.
