Rebecca Parks

is adopting a child from United States of America

We have our heading. Here we go! Hi there! We are the Parks. Mom and Dad, two high school girls and two middle school boys. Nice and symmetrical … maybe too symmetrical. (!) We recently spent nine years in India, but we're back in America now and, for the first time in a decade, we can consider adoption. So, family pow-pow time. Every one of us, including our 12-year-old sixth grader, got a say and a veto. We all sense God is saying yes. We are ALL on board for this new adventure with Zayn. We have agreed to take this little 10-year-old boy to be the new, youngest Parks. He's an American citizen but was actually adopted from Taiwan foster care (pretty awful according to the records) three years ago. He had a tough start and as a result has not settled well in his first adoptive home. He needs a fresh start, and we believe he'll thrive in our healthy, fun, solid home. (And we could use his help adding another element of jazz to our lives.) That's all great, but the surprisingly large once-off costs are a hurdle. We trust God will supply and wonder if He'll supply some of it through you. Via Adopt Together. Thanks for considering it.
