From the very beginning of our relationship we knew that having a baby was a must for us. We both love kids and can't imagine not bringing one into our home. Our adoption story started with us personally trying to get pregnant. We did this with a donor we knew and tried for a year. After that year and the emotional and physical strain it put on us and our donor we decided we needed to look into different options.
We landed on adoption. Knowing there are plenty of kids who need a loving, safe home, we thought this was the best next step for us. We are working with LifeLong Adoptions, we are so excited to be accepted by them to work towards our dream. However, that dream comes with a very big price tag. My wife is currently active duty Air Force and I am in retail, she is achieving her dreams by serving our country now all we need to make our dreams come true is add a baby to our family.
