Hello! It is only by God&'s grace, as with all things, that we are here right now. We are Henry and Soo Lee and have 2 wonderful children. We are a pastor&'s family currently residing in the Los Angeles area. We have been praying and thinking about adoption for awhile now. As God has gently nudged us towards adoption for many years, there was a feeling of excitement one day, and terrifying the next. However, anytime I would bring it up, my husband and children were all for it, no hesitation just ok when do you want to do it? Being in ministry for over 23 years, my husband has visited orphanages in different countries, most recently in Thailand. And while I have been personally contemplating adoption, God has been increasingly laying on my husband&'s heart, the needs of orphans around the world. As he has been preaching about &'true religion&' from the book of James and how God addresses caring for orphans more often than many other subject matters in the Bible, he said, "Soo, I don&'t think it&'s ok just to be thankful for our good life while so many others are suffering, there has to be more.." Recently, I received final confirmation, as my husband was cleared of a health scare, God confirmed to me "..I will help you keep your promise.." I was done resisting. We humbly ask for your prayers as we are also in financial need, the cost of this adoption is over $40,000. If you are able, we would be so grateful for you to partner with us in our adoption.
