By the grace of God, we are adopting a child!
After many years of struggling with infertility and after many nights in prayer, we are starting the process of adoption. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful baby boy! It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000+, and this is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
Our Story: We decided to adopt after facing a loss in December due to a rare case of Covid crossing into Erin’s placenta. Erin has always had a hard time getting pregnant and has had to use means of medication and treatment to get pregnant and when she lost twins in December, she felt the Lord was calling her family to adopt a baby boy to complete our family. She listened to Maverick City Music, constantly. She knew that her baby that God was going to match them with, would be called Maverick.
Erin & Cody have two biological children, Lillian & Lynnlee. Cody did adopt Lillian in a step parent adoption in 2015. Our new baby will have the best sisters ever! We live in a cute little ranch house out on 5 acres in Georgia! We plan to purchase at least 15 acres next to us, so our children can one day build a home on family land. We are a very tight knit family and love each other so big! We have two 4 legged babies too, they are our pups-Diesel & Tine!
We cannot wait to welcome a little one into our home and into our hearts! We have a huge support team behind us in our family, friends, church & community! We promise to raise this child in a loving Christian home and with grace and respect. We are truly blessed and thankful to be trusted with one of God’s greatest gifts!
