We're adopting!
We're pursuing domestic infant adoption to grow the Hirschy family from a family of five to a family of six, and we couldn't be more excited.
We have known for quite awhile that God has been leading us to adoption as one way we could fulfill his call to care for the vulnerable and let the love He has shown us flow out to others. We initially pursued becoming licensed foster parents in which we have cared short-term for a number of children over the past almost two years. However, God has now shifted our path to domestic private infant adoption.
As I'm sure you may know, private adoption can be costly. While this does make us nervous, we know God will provide, and we know he will partly do that through the generosity from friends, family, and even strangers.
