We are so excited to be adding a new member to our little family! We have known for a long time that adoption would be part of our family&'s story, and now the journey to our second child is underway. I first started talking to Kevin about adoption in 2007. We knew we weren&'t quite ready for kids yet, but I just had this feeling that I wanted to adopt. I started looking into it, and when I realized that China has a minimum age requirement of 30, I wasn&'t upset. We weren&'t quite ready to become parents yet, anyway! A lot has happened since 2007, and our pull to adopt from China has become stronger and stronger. Thinking in the back of our minds that "someday, we&'ll adopt" has become today. We know that our second child is waiting for us and we are working hard to bring her home.
