is adopting a child from India

In case you haven't heard…WE'RE ADOPTING!

THE STORY

God began to place adoption from India on our hearts the minute Rob and I met each other and started dating. Through the years, we have talked about it as a future dream…and over the past year, God has made that dream the biggest call of our hearts.

Specifically, we have been called to adopt SIBLINGS!

WHERE WE ARE IN THE PROCESS

We are currently WAITING FOR A MATCH with our children.

We are praying to have them home before Christmas, but right now it is unknown.

THE NEED

Rob and I have been saving and are committing to dedicate half of the financial resources needed to the adoption funding (because we would never ask people to give to something without us doing all we can first)…

…but unfortunately, adoption is expensive. For international adoptions, especially with siblings, it can easily total $40,000 to $50,000.

We believe that God is going to totally and completely provide everything we need for our children…including the cost for the adoption.

The LAST thing we want is for finances to slow the process and prolong getting our children home in any way.

If you feel called to support us and our children in this process, whether it is through PRAYER (which is desperately needed) or through finances, we would be extremely, extremely grateful.

Here's What We're Doing

We have this puzzle…

For every $10 that you donate OR for every written prayer that you mail to us for our children's walls, we will mark your initials on the back of a puzzle piece.

The puzzle has 2,000 pieces. Yes, you read that right…TWO THOUSAND! That's a lot of prayers, a lot of money, and a lot of initials!

We want a way to always remember the people who supported us during this time. So, once it is complete, we will frame the puzzle in a clear, double sided frame, so on one side, we see the picture, and on the back, we see the initials of all who supported us.

  • If you give $100, you get 10 puzzle pieces…and your name is written a little bigger ;)
  • If you send in a written prayer for us to keep and put all over the walls in our children's room, you get a puzzle piece, too.
  • PLEASE HELP US FILL THE PUZZLE PIECES!

Send any written prayers to:

FAQ's

  1. Do you know who your kids are yet?

It's an odd question. On paper, we haven't met. But there's already a motherly and fatherly instinct rising up within us. Yes, we know our kids. We know that we will know them as soon as we see them on paper. But we can't tell you their names…yet :)

  1. How old will they be?

We are requesting for 2 children, siblings, 0 to 5 years old. So, they could be anywhere the youngest being 1 year old and the oldest being 4 years old (or any number in between). We are praying for a boy/girl sibling set.

  1. Why are you adopting from India?

In Psalm 37:4, it says, "Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

God put this burning desire on our heart years ago. For me (Kimberly), when I was in high school I began to have a burning desire for India. So much so, as a freshman in college I started a mission trip to India. After spending 3 weeks at an orphanage there, I fell in love. With everything. The people, the culture, and mostly, the children. When I came home, I knew one day I would be going back…

…the week after I returned home from that mission trip, Rob and I met each other and started dating. I talked about India all the time, and about how one day I would have children from there. Rob was in whole-hearted agreement.

We believe God has put these desires on our hearts, and that He is know allowing these things to come to fruition.

I don't know why India. I don't know why siblings. But all I know is God has something in store, and we CANNOT wait to see what it is.
