Hello there! Thanks for visiting! We are thrilled to tell you a little bit about our family welcoming a child through adoption.
Both of us felt called to adopt before we met, and God has only grown that desire as we have journeyed through marriage and parenting our two biological children. We consider it a wonderful opportunity to continue to grow our family in a way that hopefully reflects the love God has poured out on us through Christ.
We are in the process of preparing for this exciting season spiritually, emotionally, and financially. First and foremost, we ask for your prayers as we seek to do this faithfully. Coming up with the funds to cover an adoption is undoubtedly a huge undertaking. Costs can easily total $45,000 or more. While we hope to receive grants and will be doing fundraisers, we hope this site can be an easy-to-use platform for those who would like to support us.
We extend to you an invitation not only into our financial process but into our journey as growing parents and followers of Christ. We know this process will not be easy. With any adoption comes loss and heartache and struggle. We are committed to providing our child's birth parents with tenderness and compassion. We are committed to trusting in the Lord's desire to heal hearts and mend brokenness. We are asking our community to hold us to these commitments and push us toward faithful obedience.
