Hi!
We are Jesse and Olivia and we have two daughters, Tennyson, 3 years old, and Wilder, 1 year old. When we started dating we discussed wanting to adopt to grow our family and knew we wanted that to be a part of our story. The reason for wanting to adopt for us personally has grown and morphed over the years. At this time we very much want to assist birth parents in providing a home and family for their child and support them in their decision. We hope to build a relationship with the birth parents of our child that builds them up as well. We want to cultivate a positive experience and relationship with them through this experience and beyond.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
