We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
You might be wondering what brought us to this point. It hasn't been an easy road. For several years we have tried to start out family only to be met by disappointment, hurt and broken dreams. Through all of this we can look back and say with joy that we are thankful for our struggles. Little did we know that through this time God was preparing our hearts for adoption. We decided to jump in with both feet and are excited to welcome a child into our home and experience the beauty of adoption. We want to invite you to a front row seat on our journey.
We are working with Kirsh and Kirsh, an adoption law firm in Indiana. The first hurdle we have to clear is paying the retainer/downpayment so that we can become active and our profile will begin being shown to birthmothers.
