We have BIG news!
We are adopting a little boy from China! Over the last several months we have been working to complete our home study (which is almost done). We have also been matched with our little boy, Brax. Brax is a precious little boy who was abandoned as a baby. Over the last 5 years he has been living in an orphanage in China. When we first saw a picture of Brax a few months ago, we both knew one thing…this was our son. He is a sweet little boy who always has a smile on his face. We cannot wait for the day when we can have little Brax in our arms.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. We only need $4000 to ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. This amount will cover some of the remaining costs we have in order to bring Brax home.
