Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. While this won&'t be news to those of you who have been following our adoption journey all along, the process has been full of bumps, hurdles, and "hurry up and wait." Many of you have already supported us financially - and we certainly felt your support through prayer while in Congo and the months since as our undetermined wait continues. For those of you new to our story - we are anxiously waiting for two awesome little boys to join our family! Jameson Tshipata and Paxton Mbuyamba are attending school and living with a foster mother until we receive that final piece of paper we need to get them home. We had definitely hoped to be past the "fundraising" stage of our adoption - but the expenses keep coming with the longer wait. We pay monthly to support the boys in their foster home - money that goes toward food, clothing, school supplies, medications…Paxton was just hospitalized a few weeks ago for malaria, I had never been more grateful for the wonderful care they are receiving. While we&'ve been handling the monthly payments, we also have another chunk of agency fees and travel to look forward to whenever the country opens up again! There&'s no doubt in our minds that God will provide a way home for these boys, but the mounting debt and unknown $ still needed leaves us asking if you&'ll consider supporting us (yet again?). We have been humbled over and again by the love and generosity shown to our family since starting this process nearly two years ago. Thank you will never be enough - but THANK YOU!!
