We are blessed beyond words to introduce Isabel Iris.
Izzy was born April 2, 2016. Yes, you read that right, 2016. We were entrusted with this bundle of joy in our home on a temporary basis so the Birth Mother could find somewhere to live and have a home to take her to. Since I worked from home at the time, I was going to be able to meet all this precious newborn needs. What was going to be a short term placement turned much longer due to unforeseen circumstances, Izzy is now becoming part of our family. We have been granted 100% custody and we are now able to start the adoption process.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption costs can easily add up quickly. We have been able to meet all the expenses since we were granted custody of Izzy. But now we have had some unexpected adoption related expenses coming up in order to move forward with the adoption. This is why we have set a goal of $5,000.0 to help ease the financial burden of the unexpected and none budgeted expenses.
