Hi there! We are Jeremy and Avery Johnson and we are excited to share our adoption journey with you.

We have now been married for ten years and the time truly has flown by! After struggling with infertility for many years, God has revealed His plan for building our family through adoption. We have several family members who were adopted, including Jeremy’s mom, and have seen first hand how amazing adoption is.

We adopted our son Ezra in 2020, and are now feeling the push again from God to continue growing our family through adoption again! Ezra has been such a blessing and a gift in our lives, and we cannot wait to see him become a big brother.

It is no secret that adoption is an expensive journey. Our hope is that we will be able to cash flow the majority of our expenses and fees. Every dollar fundraised goes directly to adoption expenses. These expenses include our home study, adoption profile book, agency fees, lawyer fees and so much more. We cannot do this alone. We know what God has laid on our heart and we know we have an amazing community ready to back us.

  • Update 1

    Home Study Approved!

    December 13, 2025

    Family and friends - it is our pleasure to announce we are finally home study APPROVED!! We have been working on our home study since July, and we are so thankful it has now been completed. So, what is the next step? The next step will be an "admittance" meeting with our agency. In this meeting, we will meet with the ladies who meet with expectant/birth Mamas considering adoption for their children. We will go over what situations we are willing to say "yes" to. Additionally, it is now time to pay our $10,000 agency fee. Once these two action items are completed - we will be waiting for a call at any day and any time telling us we have been chosen for a baby.

    We want to send our heartfelt "thank you" to each and every one of you who has donated. We cannot put into words how deep our gratitude is that you have chosen to financially back our adoption journey. Way back in 2015 when we first got married, we couldn't have imagined that we would be building our family this way. But, God.

    God has given us so much more than what our infertility ripped away from us. We want our story and our testimony to first and foremost always reflect God's goodness.
