Our story is one of enduring patience, strong and everlasting love and a commitment to seeing our girls come to their forever family. We started our adoption journey in 2010!! Can you believe what a long journey this has been. Paperwork, government hassles, more paperwork, two trips to Haiti while trying to keep our sanity. We were matched with 9 month old twin girls (Christine & Christina) back in 2012. We know the adoption process well as we have an amazing 11 year old son Benjamin who we adopted from China at 13 months. We have had two visits to Haiti so far. During the first visit the girls were 9 months old. They stayed with us for 10 days in a hotel. What a joyous time to hold and care for them. In 2015 we brought our son to meet his sisters and spent 3 weeks in a guest house. We toured their orphanage, some of the country and of course we had a bunch of laughter, hugs and kisses and quality family time. As we are coming close to our adoption completion it should be another several months until we can travel to bring the girls home. In order for us to finalize this long wait we need an additional $5,138.00 to finish the girls orphanage fee, passports and visas. We are hoping and praying through the use of Adopt Together we should be able to raise this money to bring them home. We have applied for grants, sold personal items thus allowing us to pay the rest of the money so far in this journey. We are so grateful for any donation or well wishes/prayers.
