On our very first date, we connected as we discussed the fact that both of our families were completed through adoptions from Korea, and we discussed our individual desires to one day complete our own families through adoption. Charlie was adopted from Korea at age three and Jill has four sisters who were adopted from Korea. In April of 2016, we traveled to Seoul to reunite with Charlie's birth mother, half sister and half brother after 43 years. Later that year, we took our boys to Camp Mujigae, a Korean culture camp for Korean adoptees and their children. As we looked around, we knew that we had to find a way to make our dream come true and complete the missing piece of our family's puzzle. The financial barriers to adoption are, sadly, very great. Many of our wonderful friends and family have asked how they can help. We randomly read about this incredible site that helps so many children come home to loving families and knew this would be a good match for us. Thank you so much for your support of our family. We cannot wait to be the Jackson Five!
