Welcome to the Jandy Family Adoption! We are the Griffiths, Andy and Janet (Jandy!). We live in Virginia in the DC Metro area. Andy is an engineer with the Naval Research Lab. He basically gets to play with robotic and satellite toys all day. Janet is a land use attorney. We have two dogs, Mister Duke and Bella Blue. We both come from big, love and faith filled families. Our adoption journey began when Janet was diagnosed with Lupus in college. Lupus caused kidney failure. She received a kidney from her little brother Edward in an amazing act of GRACE and LOVE. A few years ago we discovered that Janet was in premature ovarian failure caused by a chemo grade drug used to treat Lupus. Neither of us could imagine our life without children. God built us to be parents with natural and effortless nurturing and care giving skills. It wasn&'t a matter of whether we&'d have children but, how. God has blessed us with a beautiful life and lots of love to give. He has opened our hearts to adoption and we can&'t wait to welcome a child into our home. We love because He first loved us.
