We have big news! We are going to adopt a child :)
Psalms 68:5-6a
“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families…”
James 1:27 “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
Hosea 14:3 “For in You the fatherless find compassion.”
Our hearts have always been to adopt. Many of you whom know us know our desire was to adopt our third. It has felt God had prompted us a little earlier than we thought as we have struggled to get pregnant with our second child. God knows the timing of all things and we have felt prompted after much prayer and advice to move forward with the adoption process. If you feel compelled to help us towards our goal of raising money towards this endeavor our family would feel forever thankful!
