We get more than a few strange looks when we tell people that we want to adopt; having 5 biological children make us an unlikely adoptive family. But we feel God is leading us to share the blessing of love, family, shelter, food, clothing etc. with two sisters that do not have these necessities. We are excited about our adoption journey to adopt siblings from Ethiopia. As of July 19, we are currently in Ethiopia awaiting our court date that we may adopt these dear sisters. We know that the remaining $20,000 we need for this adoption is too great for us, but not too great for God. We are excited to see how God will provide the funds necessary to bring our daughters home. Thank you for your part in praying for us and, if God leads, in giving financially. Love, Jason, Amy, Ellie (8), Allan (6), Jack (4), Eden (2), and baby Esher **UPDATE March 2014 God brought Lewam (14) and Rutana (12) home last October! They have been an amazing blessing to our family and are adjusting so well. We thank each person for their prayer and financial support–you have helped us complete this adoption debt free! All glory to God!
